We live in a very complex and exciting time. However, many of us are under a lot of stress and pressure to perform at a very high standard. Whether it be at school or work, in athletics or relationships, or even self-imposed, stress can take a toll on our lives both physically and emotionally. Stress can be a motivator to get us to complete tasks, yet when it turns into distress then we are creating a possible risk to meeting our full potential. In my work, I emphasize the need for stress mangement, a way to identify the stressors and see how they can be managed. Because my work is collaborative, we will work together to develop an action plan that will help you to foster a sense of well being. When we can openly identify the stressors in your life, you will be able to think more clearly, feel more confident, foster self-esteem, and feel more in control of your life. Stress does not have to consume us. We can work with it to create and live a more fulfilling life.
